There are so many things in the books that wasn't in this movie. But, if you love the movie you will love the books even more. There are so many other details that were left out. The book is a thousand times better. New Moon is going to great but just wait for Eclipse. And Then Breaking Dawn. This is the best series out there.

I had read the first two books, trying to be open-minded and found them to be self-indulgent vicarious tripe. That sort fo stuff usually translates well to movies, so expected the movie to be better.
However, I was sadly, sadly mistaken. The actors add nothing to the already-lacking screenplay. And I have to praise the lead actress fro giving a performance that was both wooden and melo-dramatic, Brava! The cinematography was lovely. The landscape was so beautiful and the perfect backdrop for a angsty teenage love story. The music wasn't terrible, though it felt vaguely repetitive. But overall Twilight gets a D-.

I didn't bother reading the movie's and personally i think half the people that commented on this movie are retarded because there so dang obsessive over a movie. The movie was good and great actors, sadly the image of the vampires they gave is bad. Though it's a movie so thats allowed. was a really good movie. But was just like the movie 'Wanted' Everybody said it was amazing and fantastic and the best ever. Then i watched it and it wasn't as good as everybody said it was. But like Vampiress Dark Angel, this is just another opinion.

I'm a big lover of movies and books. I especially love when they make books into movies. I think this movie was ok, but like other people I think they could have made it more like the book. As for the actors, with a little more skill in portraying vampire's, they could be really good. But I think that Robert could have done a much better job. Like I said just another opinion.

Ok, first off I love, love, love the books. And being an avid book reader and movie watcher I've seen tons of books translated into movies. I know that you can't add everything from the book into a movie but, in Twilight they could have added a bit more. I know that I would have sat through another 20 or 30 minutes to see more and so would other Twilightfans. The end of the movie, which was the part of the movie, seemed rushed. The chemistry could have been better between Edward and Bella. I also think that Robert and Kristen could have portrayed the characters a bit better. Don't get me wrong I love Robert he just seemed a little like he was on the verge of crying the whole movie. While Kristen twitched and blinked through the whole movie. All in All I thought the movie was good, and I'm looking forward to seeing New Moon and adding Twilightto my movie collection.
Oh and the person who said anything not positive about the movie should keep it to themselves, needs to rethink the statement. How would it be if everyone could only post positive things about all movies, whether it be the truth or not. Just because I love the color red doesn't mean everyone should. And that their voices shouldn't be heard.

I think the person below me is right they did leave to much stuff out. But i think that if they put everything in the movie that was in the book it would be like a 4 hour movie. The one thing that i didn't like about it was Kirsten and Rob didn't really do a very good job on portraying Bella and Edwards Love. It was much more pure. But besides the skipping parts and some parts being off it is a really amazing movie, i mean most movies i watch and then read the book a hate them. But this one i actually loved and i plan on buying and i think you should also!!!! MARCH 21 GO AND BUY IT!!! GET THE BOOK TOO ITS ALSO AMAZING!!!

I thought the movie was ok compared to all of the other new movies, but, like all new movies, it left too much stuff out.The dialogue was all right, but the emotions of Edward and Bella were not shown very well. Bella and Edward looked bored, and there were barely any moments when they laughed or anything. There wasn't much special effects, even in the places where they're supposed to be (example: Edward's skin is supposed to sparkle when he steps into the sunlight and not be in pain, but all that happened was his skin got lighter and he looked as if he was in pain.) I have to say, the movie could have been much, much better if the acting was better and not so much stuff was left out. I hope New Moon is more like the book, and I hope that Rob and Kirsten use better acting skills than they did in Twilight.

What is wrong saying we didn't like the movie?
I read all 4 books in 2 days! I loved the books but was let down by the movie. Whatever quality of film they used was lower grade and they didn't have as much money for special effects, so I hope since this one was a huge hit they will spend more money on the next one and make it an " A " movie instead of a "B" movie. I also thought the script writing wasn't as strong as it could've been for the actors, so that might help their acting the next round. Good luck, and I will give the next one a shot also.

I am obsessed with the books.They are sooooo good
I thought the film was great!. Rob played edward really well but i felt kirsten in each scene looked liked she was really bored. I wanted there to be more of the book in the film, some parts from the book i was really looking forward to in the film but it wasn't in it... it was a let down. Other than that i loved the film and can't wait for new moon!!!!!

hey, i was looking for this movie before and couldent find a good quality version, it exceeded my expectations i didnt think i'd like it but it was a good movie.
just letting everyone know, i watched the video on graboid.com you have to download the graboid player but its all safe and legit and you can sue them if its a virus or whatever (which theres no way you'd get one anyway from that site) so yeah all you do is sign up and download the program and theres alot of movies there to choose from all good quality and there you are. happy christmas everyone
