has anyone ever heard of continuity? i will say it was pretty, and they are on the right track for the special effects. but aside from very minor plot points and character names, this movie is way off. i watched the entire series: DB, DBZ and DBGT, and it looks like someone else needs too as well

i know the dragonball and dragonballz better than all of you. The movie was ok cuz the first movie of everything like this sucks the next ones will be better you all need to watch dragonball more the olny diffrence is omost is that krillion wasnt there.

this movie is BULLs**t.
it sucks like balls. its crap. goku isnt even asian here they should've at least kept everybody asian. if its made by an asian man, its should stay as the asian man made it but some dumba*s white director had to kill it off

I grew up with Goku...lol, in a way. When I first moved to Japan, he was still a kid...and we both grew up together. That was when I was 12. I'm 32 now and Goku all grown up along with his son. It was great having something to relate with my childhood. Unfortunately, they should've kept this in Japan...the cartoon, the story, everything should've stayed. People don't seem to really appreciate the cultural differences and only make fun of what they don't understand. I have to admit...this movie SUCKED...had it DB stayed in japan throughout the years, no one would've had the chance to mess things up like this.

OMG,
Somebody please shoot the low budget director. They completely killed the story line of DBZ, omg DBZ evolution, in evolution Goku is Super Saiyan 4, and how they said Ki and Kamehameha! So low budget, they're given this awesome series a bad rep! 70 min. They probably could have done it in 3-4 hrs.

what can i say about this movie? First of all if you come into this movie looking for a "Dragon Ball" experiance sadly you will not get it. I'de like to say that if you veiw this as just another movie that it is worth watching.... But it's not. Lets face it anyone who want's to see this movie will want to based on a pre-existing history to the "DB" series, so about 99% of the veiwer will want what they aren't going to get. Speaking hypothetically even as just some movie this is boring, poorly written, an just a waste of time. Please if you are bored an looking to kill time, do not watch this movie, take a walk, read a book, Hell go watch anime, don't watch this. If you do you will only feel like you've just wasted over an hour of your life at best. I could get into the whole "race" thing here but for some strange reason I feel compelled to atleast try to defend somthing about this movie.Anime is from Japan, who did, and still does have a overwhelming fasination with everything "Western" aka american. Everyone can cry about how the characters should be Japanese, but be honest people 90% of anime characters Look like they are of European descent. I'm also talking to americans of japanese descent (Damare-yo!), can you honestly look at Goku in the anime (DBZ+) an say well he's japanese?
If you said yes, Baka-Yaro! He doesn't, just like in FFX(ps2) the only time the the characters looked of asain descent was during a cutscene. Why? Kodomo janain-dakara. I'll stop now, "DB" fans this will piss you off at worst, annoy you at best beware, every1 else goodnight.
